Tyler Economic Development Board Selects New Officers

The Tyler Economic Development Council Board has selected officers and directors for the 2008-2009 fiscal year.

Serving on the Executive Committee are: Felicity Reedy, The Genecov Group, chairman; Rea Boudreaux, Brannon Corp., vice chairman; David Traff, Traff Asset Management, secretary/treasurer; Barham Fulmer, Southside Bank, immediate past chairman; Tom Ellis, John Soules Foods, Finance Committee chair; Taylor Burns, Burns Commercial Properties, Real Estate Committee chair; Rohn Boone, Boone & Boone Construction, Resource Committee chair; Nathaniel Moran, Ramey & Flock. city of Tyler representative; Joel Baker, Smith County judge; Smith County representative; Charles Hill, Oncor, Executive Committee-at-Large; Mike Metke, president of Tyler Junior College, Executive Committee-at-Large; Robert Hancock, Austin Bank, Tyler Area Chamber of Commerce Board chairman and Tom Mullins, president/CEO, Tyler Economic Development Council.

New board members are Kathey Comer, Tyler Area Builders Association; Doug Hunsley, Trane; Stan Riley, Transit Mix; Jason Surratt, CenterPoint Energy; Clay Thompson, Franklin Bank; and Ed Wallace, E-Mar LLC.

TEDC is a private, nonprofit organization formed in 1988 to help diversify the Tyler/Smith County economy and create new job opportunities.
